Camping - Airport Park

Camping - Airport Park

Airport Park Campground is conveniently located adjacent to US-81 Highway, on the south side of Concordia.  The campground is a first come, first served basis and a fee-by-donation campsite for a stay up to 7 days. Four spots are designated as long term camping and can be reserved for up to 8 weeks. A permit is required which can be obtained at City Hall, along with payment of $120 per week. Longer term stays are a possibility with City Clerk approval. Utilities are available all year round and open to guests 24 hours a day.  The scenic & wooded camping area includes 10 drive-through pads and 4 back-in pads with water and electric hookups. A dump station is onsite.  Several other pads are available without utility hookups, and the site is ideal for tents. Restroom facilities are available.  A picnic shelter, storm shelter, and playground are also adjacent to the campground. There is also a frisbee golf course and dog park located onsite.

Please contact City Hall at 785-243-2670 before completing application.

Blosser Municipal Airport is onsite, and a courtesy car is available for those who fly into the airport. The campground area is located south of the National Guard Armory. Across US Highway 81 sits Wal-Mart, and within a short walking distance are two restaurants - Taco Johns and Pizza Hut. The Holiday Inn Express is also conveniently situated just a few short blocks away. Please call City Hall for any other questions, 785-243-2670. We're sorry, but we're unable to reserve spots for RVers, and no camp host is on site.

Come spend some time in Concordia!
